This issue we continue to introduce the advantage of fireproof calcium silicate board's application in glass kiln.
3. Small furnace bottom insulation.
The distance from the flame port to the liquid surface cannot be designed too large. Being limited by structure, the thickness of small furnace bottom is limited. The insulation material for the bottom of the small furnace should have low thermal conductivity, high strength and high temperature resistance. High-strength fireproof calcium silicate board is the best choice here.
4. Pool bottom insulation
In the past there is no high strength fireproof calcium silicate board. The ideal pool bottom insulation is adding clay shell to fireproof calcium silicate board to make composite insulation bricks. The high-strength fire-proof calcium silicate board can be directly on the bottom beam of the pool bottom, save the bottom steel plate and the trouble of making composite insulation bricks, and reducing the thickness of pool bottom. By using composite insulation bricks, investment on building furnace reduced by 12%, energy saving increased by 4%. Many domestic glass companies have replaced imported products with domestically produced high-strength fireproof calcium silicate board.
5. Furnace wall
In some kilns, outer surface of the breast wall has a relatively high temperature. A layer of fireproof calcium silicate board sealed with thermal insulation coating can effectively reduces the heat dissipation of the kiln. This insulation construction can be done when furnace is under operation. Construction is easy and convenient.
6. Fire shield
It can be used as a fire shield when at the feeding port or during hot repair of the furnace. The fireproof calcium silicate board is characterized by lightness and high strength.
